سوران فیضیزاده در ۱۷ دی ۱۴۰۴ در شهر بیجار واقع در استان کردستان جان باخت. بر اساس گزارشهای موجود، وی پس از بازداشت توسط نیروهای امنیتی جمهوری اسلامی و بر اثر تحمل شکنجه جان خود را از دست داد. نام وی به عنوان یکی از «جاویدنامان» راه آزادی در آرشیوهای حقوقبشری ثبت شده است.
